If you've been following me on Instagram, you know we've been [ p a t i e n t l y ] waiting for our countertops to arrive.
Well, great news! They're in! Installed and gorgeous. Now that they are in, the next steps are ceiling, backsplash, pot filler, fully installing the hood, and detail work.

One of our favorite parts of our kitchen is the peninsula. We (aka my amazing husband) painstakingly made my design dream come true. It was important to me that our kitchen didn't look too white so to ground the entire look, we went with a dark gray paint. The color is Peppercorn by Sherwin Williams and it was the perfect color for our style.
I didn't want a "black and white" kitchen and this paint has a subtle blue/purple undertone when the sun hits it just right which I love.
We're so excited to see how our kitchen turns out! It seems like every decision that is made could make or break the entire room. Wish us luck that we make the right decisions! ;)
